You were supposed to get another blog post yesterday, but I was flat in bed for the second day with a high fever. Today I’m well enough to spend a little time at the computer (how much will depend on whether the fever comes back.) I’ll try to answer comments today in all my online locales but not sure I’ll get to them all, and you’re probably going to be short a blog post or two.
However, my UK editor confirmed that today is release day for Kings of the North in the UK. Would love to hear where it’s spotted first!

For sure you will hear my squeeee all the way from Sweden when they have shipped the UK edition to my local bookshop! The long snippet made my desperate need for the book even more acute…
Will there be a photos of the book “in the wild” this year as we did last year for Oath?

I’d love to see photos again (and maybe this year I can keep up with them all and get them ALL in…)

A photo will be forthcoming, as soon as my copy arrives. Although Amazon UK is still showing it as to be released on 24 March, they will hopefully catch up with things soon.
Hope you feel much better very soon.

I can only report what Editors tell me.

I suppose UK Editor could have been mistaken. Fever’s back up, so I just don’t feel like coping with it right now.

Take care of yourself, and hope you feel better soon. I’m patiently waiting — have plenty of other things to do. Anticipation will just help me savor the book even more when it gets here.

I’ve also checked with Forbidden Planet and Waterstones bookstores and they’ve both told me the 24th as well. Just keeping you informed, but hope you feel better soon. Make yourself a hot toddy? 😉

Sorry to hear of your fever. Rest and don’t be too hasty to get back to active duty.
I also had a bad day and night, my Parkinson’s veering between dyskinetic and deeply “off” states with little useable time in between. Yecch.

There is a Swedish saying: Den som väntar på något gott väntar aldrig för länge.
(In my translation: Those who wait for something good never wait too long.)
I went to my bookshop today and they thought the book would arrive within a week or two even if the release is date March 24 for the UK edition. So my hypothesis is that March 4 is the date the publisher started shipping the book to the stores.
I recommend tea with heaps of honey (add lemon to balance the sweetness) to cure any and all ills. Get well soon!

Well I will keep an eye on bookdepository.co.uk which is usually the first to ship, but at present it has “18 days to go”, same for Kindle pre-order which will deliver by whispernet on the specified day.
Here’s the publishers web site :-

Never mind, I was all set up to wait 18 days, early would just be a bonus.

“Usually dispatched within 72 hours”
So Squeeeeee !
£7.13 is a bit more than Amazon.co.uk but now is better than “when the computers says you can have it”

Has now reverted to “12 days to go” but reduced the price to £5.99
What a strange world we live in.
Any arrival news from Sweden ?

Oh, good! Maybe they expect to have it to you at the same time it comes out in the stores.
