My story overlaps one part of Crown of Renewal without either spoilering, or being spoilered by, the book–it happened off the book’s stage. That way it didn’t matter when the anthology came out, relative to Crown‘s publication. I’m looking forward to reading the other stories. I’m familiar with, and have enjoyed, fiction by some of these, but others are new to me. A good sign for the health of the genre, IMO.

We hope to have read Crown by then. It will be nice to “fill in the cracks”, so to speak. Thanks for the announcement.

I try to make ’em when I get ’em, but sometimes an editor is not clear on when it’s OK and not OK to make the announcement..

Alas, not yet available from Amazon UK. Nor, alas, do Baen appear to be issuing it as an e-book just yet. Oh well, they will soon, I dare say. I hope so, anyway.

It’s not available because it’s not going to be published until next November: November 2014. So it won’t be listed until much closer to then.

Alright! Looking forward to it.

What are the chances of Baen giving Amazon, and Amazon showing the full Table of Contents when they do have the book?
Comment by elizabeth — December 12, 2013 @ 11:15 pm
Richard: I have no idea. That’s a question for the editors or the publisher or Amazon, not me. It’s way above my pay grade.

Are you familiar with Glen Cook and the Black Company novels he has written. You are my two top favorite writers. his military fantasy is fantastic.

Yes, I am. He is a wonderful writer. I haven’t read all the Black Company novels, but very much admire him.

Richard, I made sure both Amazon and Goodreads list the full TOC.
