As mentioned, I’m incredibly busy right now, and do not have time to answer many questions or all comments. I must spend at least two hours a day on the music. More if I’m still having problems by Saturday. Orchestra rehearsals start next week and I will have rehearsals Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and then the performance Saturday and two services to sing Sunday. Plus the rest of the things that must be done, including writing-business stuff, home stuff, and work on the new book.
Typos and other errors of fact/continuity submitted with a page number may (no promises) be changed in the paperback next year. I’ll send the list to Editor. They can’t be changed in the hardcover, unless it sells a wildly unlikely number of copies. I jot down the ones I notice, but I don’t catch them all (obviously!)
Comments that ask one question answerable in brief are more likely to be answered than ones that ask several questions, or ones that would require a lengthy answer. See paragraph one. Remember that all books are restricted in length, and decisions about what goes in and what doesn’t are based on both writer and editor opinions about what is essential for the story arc.

Further reminders of reality. Today’s planned Hour of Power on the tractor was cut short by the tractor’s insistence that it had no Power to share. Likely cause–something in the fuel line. But I’ve forgotten the trick to open the cowling so I can get at the top of the fuel filter to check that it’s set right, and then have room to put a can under it to drain out a little and see if there’s water (the easiest to fix) in the fuel, or if we’re dealing with air. I talked to the guys at the tractor repair place, but discovered I couldn’t get the cowling up after that and am just not ready to call back again with another “idiot” call. Waiting for husband to call from the city (where he’s gone to pick up son and bring him home for a day) and tell me how to lift the “lid”.

@genko mix genres. Steampunk Scotty could fix tractors!

Genko (and I hope you’ve read Thurber) Bombadil said “Ta-pocketa-pocketa-pocketa…pocketa…pocketa…pock..et..whooze”
We thought we had it fixed but it turned out we didn’t, and now we can’t even start it. So now Bombadil goes “rrrrenh…rrrrenh….rrrrenh” on battery.

Oh, and the reason is that sometime in the past 24 hours or so (after I finished Thursday’s mowing) the gas line developed a leak, so air’s getting in the line. And diesel, of course, is getting out. SIGH.

It’s always twice as frustrating when something that’s _just_ back from being repaired goes out. Grrr!
